Do you want to try out arm knitting but don't have any flag poles lying around? Maybe you don't have the time to be restrained by wooly hand cuffs for an hour or more? In this tutorial I will show you an easy, alternative way to arm knit a super chunky throw without the hassle arm knitting can bring. For the purpose of this tutorial I showed a loose knit, so you could see the pattern the chains were creating. Cost of project : $37CAD / £23GBP [Each skein originally cost $9.99 before tax, but I was able to get my hands on a 50% off coupon making each skein roughly $5. I think this is a really affordable project and well worth the cost as you often see these super chunky throws sell on Etsy for $/£ 100's]. Yarn used : 8 skeins of Loop & Threads Biggie 100% acrylic super bulky yarn. [You can use any chunky knit yarn or wool]. Size of blanket : 20 by 40 stitches, which works out to measure around 1.5 by 2 meters. How long did this project take : 1 hour [The great thing about using this method is that you're able to leave and revisit your project when it suits you].
